01 What this is
A map editor for Lords of the Realm II, running in your browser. Paint the terrain, cut the counties, place towns, castles and villages, then export a .l2map the game can load.
Forty-four maps come with it: the twenty-four from the original game and the twenty from the Siege Pack. You can also generate one at random, trace one by hand, or turn a picture into a map.
02 Made with this editor
These two were drawn here, from an empty coast to a .l2map the game loads. Open one and it arrives in the editor as it was left — yours to walk over, redraw and export.
Twenty years of maps, shared on the GOG forum. Download a .l2map, drop it on the editor, and it opens here.
